A Vital Guide To Obtaining The Correct Ovens

An oven is a central domestic appliance to any kitchen today. There are quite a few diverse models and styles of ovens to procure. Having heaps of options can certainly make your time hunting for a replacement oven an exceptionally tricky and baffling job. One of the main factors of your choice is that you must elect on an oven that will both suit your needs along with your allocated budget. The cost of ovens can range from £300 up to £1,500. Here are a number of useful recommendations you are advised to consider prior to procuring an oven.

The very first thing you ought to mull over is whether you wish to cook with a gas oven, an electric oven, or on the other hand a duel fuel oven. In general, gas ovens warm-up much faster than electricity powered ovens. They also help to keep food fresh while cooking as a result of the damp heat that is released. Electricity ovens generally cook food considerably more evenly and much more rapidly than gas ovens, however they do take a substantially amount longer to warm up. You will be able to cook numerous diverse styles of food all at the same time in an electricity operated oven since they are much more likely to be warmer near the top and cooler at the bottom. A duel fuel oven is an electricity oven that has a gas hob. This breed of oven will offer you a much more rapid cooking period than that of an electricity oven.

One more important thing to chew over when shopping is the specific type of oven you will require for your house. One type available is a conventional oven. The temperature will vary all the way through with a conventional oven given that they are either heated from the top or heated from the bottom. The bottom will be colder than the top and the middle will be at a sensible temperature. These specific ovens are perfect for making roast dinners; whereas a fan oven will cook meals more consistently. Multi-function ovens are an amalgamation of fan ovens and conventional ovens and are therefore good for cooking a number of meals. Finally, steam ovens are just the thing for healthy cooking because you do not have to use any oil or fat. Moreover, you also can’t burn food in a steam oven. Find a diverse selection of electrical products such as; ovens, cooker hoods and flueless gas fires from leading brands online.

The actual dimension is an extra factor that needs to be thought about when trying to seek out the most appropriate oven. Single ovens are by far the most fashionable and come in a lot of different looks and colours along with several cooking options. Double ovens are double the size of the single ovens. If you entertain frequently or have a huge family then this oven may be just right for your requirements, on the other hand small ovens are best for people who have limited available room.

Qualities that you are advised to look for in an oven comprise of; self-cleaning and electronic controls. An oven that features electrical controls is perfect for cooking foods that call for a precise cooking temperature.

World of Warcraft Power Leveling vs Wow Accounts

There are many advantages and disvantages to buying a World of Warcraft powerleveling or a used World of Warcraft account. They both serve similar purposes in which you can start playing at a much higher level rather than starting fresh at level 1.

If you buy a WoW power leveling session you are basically just hiring players to level up your character in which can save you time. Power leveling sessions are really cheap, normally alot less than the $5/hr minimum wage offered in the US because most of the workers who are leveling are based in China. Not only that but they normally are able to level faster than the average player considering they have workers rotating shifts along with many many practices in the game. One of the best part of leveling a brand new character is that you will have a fresh reputation of the character and you would be able to name the character as you like. You can even have the character trained the way you want as well. The disadvantage of a WoW power leveling session is that during the session you wouldn’t be able to log on and play the character until its been completed. So for a little downtime you get to have your character at the level you want at next to maximum speed.

Buying a used World of Warcraft account is very similar to power leveling. The advantage is that your character will likely be geard with some nice equipment and you won’t need to spend the time waiting for the character to be leveled. It’s a faster option of power leveling. But unlike power leveling, you won’t have some privileges if you buy a used account such as naming the character with what you want and training the character the way you prefer. Along with that you may have to live with the reputation that the previous owner lived up to. It may be good but not always. It’s a little risk that comes with it.

Both methods are great, as for pricing, I would think a used account would cost less since. Power levelers usually have their own rate as to a player quitting the game and selling their account. If you prefer to have a more fresh start, go with power leveling. If you prefer the speed then a used account would be optional but of course you would need to spend the time finding the account as well.

Time To Revamp Your Visual Identity?

Look at your company logo. Does it fade into the background against other images you use to promote your company? Has it become dated? Does it still fit with your company vision? Is your message connecting with the customers you want?

Your visual identity is a vital tool in communicating the essence of your business. Before someone even buys a product or service from you, they formulate ideas about the business based on your logo and visual design. Having an identity which works can positively change how your customers perceive your business and put more money in your pocket. Don’t believe me? Think Nike, Apple, Coke, Rolex…the list goes on.

How do you make your visual identity come alive and attract customers to your business?

What is your message?

Businesses change and develop over time, so the message you need to communicate will change too. The first step is to decide what you want to communicate about the changes in your business - maybe the company is more modern in its approach to customers. You can use a new visual identity to communicate this. This can be achieved by a revamp of your logo, design and messaging or a completely new approach to all elements of your identity. Consistency is key when building a brand so when you revamp or change the design of your visual identity you must patiently and continually communicate the changes.

Who are you talking to?

You need to be aware of who your customer base is and if they understand and connect with the current visual identity of the company. Has your audience changed significantly over time? Maybe the current design worked for customers 20 years ago but leaves the new audience cold. Work out who you want to communicate with and what they will respond to.
How do you make it last a lifetime?

If you are going to develop a new design then it needs to stand the test of time. You should work with a good designer, who knows current trends and how to avoid anything ultra fashionable that will look dated in a year. A good design should last 20 years and should be solid enough to take slight adaptations or modernisations during this time.

How do you keep your brand intact?

Building a brand takes a long time and needs consistency, repetition and giving customers the service they expect time and time again. You don’t want to alienate your existing customer base by a radical design change that they can’t relate to. If you want a change, consider using elements already in place such as one main colour or image, think about the changes companies like Pepsi and Coke have made over time. A company with a strong logo and visual identity is taking the first step in building an established and profitable brand.

What you ultimately want to achieve is an identity which can evolve over time without noticeable change allowing you to maintain your core identity.

Viral marketing the easy way

Viral marketing is a powerful method of getting your message around. You start a self replicating mesage and launch it into cyberspace. Then it and the carriers that it “infects” does all the work for you.

A viral message has two parts, first it gets the receiver to carry out some action such as subscribe to your newsletter, or buy a product.

The second part of a viral message is to get the receiver to pass the message on. This is the self replicating bit, and the bit that makes viral marketing so special.

Great in theory, but it doesn’t always work in practice.

Why do some viral marketing efforts fail to spread as their originators intend, while others thrive?

Harvey Segal, an internet marketing expert, has spent some time figuring this out. He has identified that the problem lies in the self-replicating bit. Getting enough of your receiver to complete this process is the weakest link where many viral campaign fail. This is hardly rocket science…but let’s look at it carefully.

A popular method of viral marketing is to use rebrandable ebooks. You send out an ebook with some useful information in it. It contains some links which are of value to you, say to a product you are selling on your own account or as an affiliate.

To make the book viral you encourage the recipient to REBRAND the ebook with his or her own links and send it on. This is the incentive part of process. Your need to ensure that all recipients have the tools, the skills and the incentive to pass the message on.

The problem is that rebranding the book is a bit clumsy, typically you have to download and unzip a file, then run an executable file to put your own links into it. Maybe you need to sign up for a few affiliate programs and enter your ID’s. None of this is especially difficut but it can be a drag, even with detailed instructions. Harvey reckons this is where you get a lot of drop outs. If you get too many your program will grow very slowly,or even just die out.

As I said, none of this is rocket science, but what Harvey does to solve the problem of drop outs is very smart.

Instead of all of your recipients, and their recipients, having to go through the rebranding process Harvey has set up a method of doing it on the fly. So the weakest suddenly becomes very strong.

But that’s not all you need. A viral program needs powerful tools to teach recipients how to distribute the message further. Not all recipients will know how to use autoresponders, opt-in lists and forums. The message has to be packaged up with the means for its own replication.

Once you have set up your first viral ebook you will be full of ideas for more. Your experience will help you do it quicker and better next time around.

Tsunami the next big wave:the grandaddy of them all

TSUNAMI the next big wave: the Grandaddy of them all

TSUNAMI the next big wave: the Grandaddy of them all

Copyright 2005 Marketing Defined. All Rights Reserved.

A few days ago on Melbourne’s 60 Minutes, renowned scientist Dr Kerry Sieh predicted that an earthquake and the ensuing next big wave or giant Tsunami will definitely happen, and it will be the Grandaddy of them all

Indonesia gets the full force this time around …

When?… whether it be in a few months, or in a decade is what he cannot accurately predict at this present moment.

Dr Sieh, a Geology professor at the California Institute of Technology, knows Indonesia’s earthquake zone like the back of his hand …

..and he did in fact predict the first earthquake that hit parts of Indonesia on Boxing Day. Now he predicts another Tsunami will hit, and this will be the grandaddy of them all!

From Melbourne MSN Channel 9’s Sixty Minutes Richard Carleton explains why the earthquakes and ensuing Tsunami’s occur:

RICHARD CARLETON: Dr Sieh’s focus is on the faultline, 5000km long, where moving plates of the earth’s crust grind against each other. The plate under the Indian Ocean slides beneath Indonesia, much like the disappearing stairs on an escalator. But some sections get stuck and then later snap upwards, releasing gargantuan force.

DR KERRY SIEH: The plates get hung up and they can’t slip past each other, so the upper plate gets dragged down as this plate sinks and with it, the islands get dragged down, slowly but surely, and when the earthquake happens, they pop back up and out.

RICHARD CARLETON: And that’s what happened last Boxing Day. The quake jolted the mainland so violently that people were thrown to the ground.

What a pointless waste of life! … Dr Sieh warned the governments concerned ahead of time .. he personally went down and alerted inhabitants of the affected villages in Indonesia to protect themselves against the Tsunami he just knew would happen

… but nobody paid any attention to him … now when he walks into these same villages, he is welcomed and treated as a hero !

From his 14 satellite research station, high in the mountain tops of the humid Indonesian jungle, Dr Sieh now predicts the next Tsunami will hit:

.. and the precise location … right opposite the city of Padang in Indonesia … inhabitants: 1 million people!

Repeat: All he cannot pinpoint is when … this disaster could be in months, the next decade or in twenty years!

The city of Padang is base for Australian surfers who go there to surf the waves of the Menwawais … where some of the best surfing breaks in the world may be found .. as an Australian citizen this alarms me greatly.

Geographically, the city of Padang would have difficulty dealing with a high tide, the devastation caused by the grandaddy of Tsunamis is incomprehensible.

Imagine a mere 15 minute warning before the earthquake ..

… and then the waters of the giant Tsunami gushing down the streets of Padang, just like it did in Banda Acheh washing everything away in its stride ..

… a moving torrent of cars, oil, broken trees and precious human life!

My call to all my fellow Marketers, the Search Engine Optimization community, Retail colleagues and anyone who reads this post: do everything in your power to reach your readers in Indonesia, particularly the city of Padang .. they need to take heed and make adequate provision to stop the pointless human slaughter this time around.

Whether this be in the form of lobbying your local Government bodies, or through local press release, we have to help this time before the devastation of this giant wave, the grandaddy of Tsunami’s .. takes away more precious human life ..

.. but above all do this in a responsible manner .. causing wide spread panic amongst unworldly village inhabitants or your worldwide audience will not help.

Melbourne’s Channel 9 has the whole story including a video of the interview available at their site . The video version is half-way down the page. Due to the ever changing nature of News, I cannot guarantee how long this link will be up.

Whilst this news is hardly topical for an internet marketing and search engine optimization Blog, as a parent the irreversible damage to our environment has me greatly concerned … please do whatever you can to stop this alarming trend.

How To Use Ebay’s “Featured Gallery” Section.

The ‘featured gallery’ is a little-known and little-used eBay feature, but that’s part of its power: it is far more used by buyers than it is by sellers, which means you can pick up some new buyers by advertising there.

Basically, the featured gallery works a lot like ‘Featured Plus’ for normal listings, which shows your item before all the other results. Buying a ‘Featured Gallery’ listing shows your listing at the top when someone chooses to use the picture gallery instead of the list view.

Which Picture Gallery?

Exactly - you’ve probably got no idea what I’m talking about, since it’s such a little-used and well-hidden feature. Try doing a search for an item. Do you see just above the results, where you can choose between ‘List View’ and ‘Picture Gallery’ (it’s next to the options for sorting the results)? Click ‘Picture Gallery’. A whole new world opens up before your eyes!

This feature is there for buyers who prefer to work visually instead of by title - and there are a surprising number of them, especially if your items are being sold for their visual appeal.

What Happens When I’m Featured?

Becoming featured in the gallery means that your item will be displayed above the other items in the picture gallery when any search there includes your item in the results. You might think this useless, considering how few people ever look at the picture gallery - but for the people who do look, you’ll be right up there. You’ll stand out even more, in fact, since so few sellers buy the featured gallery listings.

Not only that, but your picture will appear almost twice the size of the normal gallery listings below it. Your picture will be taking up a big part of the users’ screen as soon as they get their results, and they can’t avoid seeing it! For users with smaller screens, your picture could take up as much as a third of their display area.

Consider it targeted advertising towards buyers who prefer to work visually - if you want to attract that kind of buyer, you’ll do well from the featured gallery. If you sell art then this will be absolutely ideal for you, especially for large, striking pieces. There are independent artists out there who’ve gone from no sales to bidding wars just by getting featured in the gallery.

So How Do I Get a Featured Gallery Listing?

Just tick the option when you’re going through the Sell Your Item process. It costs $19.95 per item, so it’s only really worth using on auctions where you think you’ll make more than that back in the extra bids.

By now, I hope your business is well and truly off the ground, and expanding every month - if you’re putting in the time, working hard and working smart, then it should be getting there. Unfortunately, though, this is the last email you will receive from us. Use your new eBay knowledge well, never give up, and good luck in everything you do.

Fly Fishing Gifts for Christmas

Christmas is a wonderful time of the year unless you’re having problems coming up with gift ideas. Here are a few fly fishing gift ideas.

Okay, I’ll be the first one to admit publicly that buying gifts for the holidays can be a pain in derriere. When it comes right down to it, how well do you know someone and how do you know what he or she likes? Buying for kids is great because you can always peak at the letter to Santa. Unfortunately, most adults have given up writing to Santa and you really don’t want to read through there other letters. Fortunately, this isn’t a problem if you are buying for a fly fishing enthusiast.

Fly Fishing Gifts

Fly fishing is an extremely popular sport and a good way to become one with nature. Of course, you probably don’t care about any of that. Instead, you want to know what you should buy for guy or gal in your life that loves to go fly fishing. Well, here are a few ideas.

1. Flies - You lucky dog, the top gift you can give a fly fisherman is a fly. Flies are the “bait” that go on the end of the line and are used to attract fish. Flies come in a variety of types and forms. The most basic are Nymphs and Mayflies, which mimic a type of bug that lives in rivers and is considered fine dining by bass and other fish. You can expect to pay a couple of bucks per fly, so feel free to buy more than one.

2. Local Specialty Fly - Okay, this will take a bit of effort on your part. Every fishing area has a specialty fly that is known to have fish leaping out of the water before casting even begins. Since the exact fly varies from location to location, you need to stop by a local fishing store and ask for advice. Try to pick a beat up looking shop with gentlemen of an older persuasion. They’ll talk your ear off, but you’ll get something unique.

3. Fly Station - Okay, this is going to be a more costly item. A fly station looks like a small desk and for a good reason. The fly station is where your beloved angler will sit and create his or her own flies. Part of the allure of fly fishing is tying your own flies and fly stations are built for this purpose. You can expect to pay as low as $75 and as high as anyone has the never to charge.

4. Nomad Fly Fishing Journals - A little self-promotion here. Nomad Fly Fishing Journals are compact writing journals that let anglers keep notes on their efforts. They can note the fishing conditions, which flies worked the best, who the fished with and notes on what they should do differently next time. You can click the link at the bottom of this article to see the journals and expect to pay $25 for the journal and waterproof case.

If you’re looking for fly fishing gifts, consider yourself lucky. The equipment tends to be inexpensive and last a very long time.

Rick Chapo is with www.nomadjournals.com - makers of writing journals. Fly fishing journals are great fly fishing gifts for anglers and fly fishing trips and vacations. Visit www.nomadjournaltrips.com for more fly fishing articles and stories.
